Aslamo Alikum Sir.

(i want to share a case solved by Hazrat Ali R.A)

       Once some people came and asked Hazrat Ali R.A that we have an animal that is sometime like goat and sometime like dog, either it is Halal or not?

 

Hazrat Ali R.A said, go and check either the animal barks or not.if barks then it is not Halal, otherwise it can be slaughter.people said sometime it barks and sometime not.(mean giving goat like voice).now what we should do?

 

Hazrat Ali R.A said;check either the animal eats meat or not.if the animal eats then it is not Halal otherwise you can use.People said sometime animal eats meat but sometime not.now what we should do?

 

Hazrat Ali R.A said;check either the foot are cloven or not.if cloven, you can use otherwise not.people said sometime cloven and sometime not.now what we should do?

 

Hazrat Ali R.A said ok Slaughter it if it has compound stomach it is Halal and if it has simple stomach it is Haram.......

 

According to this i can say boldly that those animals which 

 

(1)eats meat (e.g Dog)

(2)which are not cloven (e.g Horse) 

(3)which have not compound stomach (e.g Horse and Dog or any other like these) are Haram.
