Well I figured that it was about time again for me to create a general
post where everybody can share what they are up to these days.

I'm still at Hydraulx, still coordinating, and brushing up on my Real
Flow so I can try to work on some shots. In house we currently have
2012 (the movie that would not end--literally), Avatar
(stereoscopic=twice the work--oh joy) and Gulliver's Travels (it has
Jack Black--need I say more?).

I moved to downtown into a "hip" apartment complex that has a movie
theater and an entire room specifically for yoga. You gotta love LA.

oh leseee....still down in LA at Rhythm & Hues....I was working on
Land of The Lost, and now they've got me on Alvin & the Chipmunks: The
Squeakquel. That's the big show we're working on this summer, there
are 2 smaller shows and a test, but we're not talking about any of
em ;-) should be interesting though! Last I heard though, we didn't
have anything locked in for immediately after this.... so I'm not sure
what's going to happen when my contract is up in October (which will
be a year for me here)

so....that's my bit....

next?

America's Army shutdown the studio in Emeryville the day after we
shipped the game on June 17th. Lot of Ex'pression-ers worked there as
you may know! So there's a lot of good talent suddenly available if
anyone is looking for modelers/animators, etc. I was lucky enough to
land on my feet though. ImageMovers Digital happened to need a
Lighting Coordinator immediately to help coordinate their off-site
lighting efforts. I interviewed and got the job! I started June 29
and I'm working on A Christmas Carol. A lot of neat stuff, but damn
am I swamped. Trying to get up to speed so I can be useful to them
NOW has been a challenge, but I've been learning fast. The contract
is up mid-September, but they've dangled the "Well, if we find you to
be too valuable to let go, we might keep you on" carrot out there. So
ya, thats me.

WOW... good going Brandon...I'm sure they'll keep you on.

Lighting Coord. eh? Tell Betsy Mueller that I said Hi, and that she
should come down to Disneyland if she ever gets a weekend off.
