Job Overview The goal of IDRC’s Employment and Growth Program is to support research that contributes to job creation in developing countries, particularly for women and youth. Our current portfolio of projects focuses on women’s economic empowerment, youth employment, entrepreneurship and leveraging collaboration between public and private sectors. As the Program Management Officer, working closely with the Program Leader, you will contribute to the development and operation of the Program. This includes playing a key coordination role to produce, communicate and disseminate program information in support of program management. Your principal responsibilities will include information management, research support, program coordination, monitoring and evaluation, communications and network development, and liaising with key internal and external constituents. Experience Position requires one to three years of relevant work experience, which includes:
Experience using data analysis software and managing a database and website, and working in developing regions are assets. Language

We support evidence-based research that helps citizens and public authorities address the sources of violent conflict, organized crime, and poor governance in a gender sensitive manner. The result is a better understanding of how institutions and practices can be made more effective and accountable to the populations they serve. |
