Experience
1. Some recent experience using secure communication devices, such as secure facsimiles, or secure phones.

2. Some recent experience using computers on classified and/or unclassified circuits.

3. Some recent experience in working with computers and word processing software such as Word, Excel, Groupwise, etc. and security software such as Entrust.

"Some" means one or more years;
“Recent” means within the last five-year period.

Job description:
1. controlling, monitoring and operating a police communications system to receive and send high level and coded messages of an administrative and operational nature, nationally and internationally, between RCMP National Headquarters and other RCMP locations, other government departments and international police agencies or intelligence agencies;

2. operating and maintaining coding/decoding equipment; and 

3. ensuring proper routing and secure storage of all classified information and documentation.
