Analyst, Policy and Strategy

Permanent Position - Ottawa, Canada

 

Reporting to the Director, Policy and Evaluation, you will provide research, analysis, and advice on matters of policy and strategy for the Centre and its Board, as well as contribute to strategic and operational planning, corporate reporting, trend monitoring, and engagement with the Government of Canada.

 

Overview of Qualifications

  • Education – Master’s degree in a relevant social science discipline such as public administration, international affairs, international development, political sciences or economics
  • Experience – three to five years of relevant policy and strategy work experience in policy research and analysis, preparation of reports and briefing notes, provision of advice to decision-makers and leading of projects
  • Language requirements – Unilingual English
  • Knowledge – issues in foreign affairs and development policy, in research and innovation, particularly in an international development context
