JOB OVERVIEW 

Working under the Community Development Department of CNH, the Community Developer will work within the Systems Change Team on our ongoing projects under the guided priorities of anti-racism, resiliency, social innovation and equity. The Community Developer will co-lead the work in a team setting. This contract involves leadership in community led anti-racism and systems change work in RenfrewCollingwood and Vancouver. Due to the nature of COVID-19, this work will be delivered in an online setting until it is safe to work in person. The Community Developer will be required to work in an environment of emergent processes and ongoing facilitation. This includes facilitating community meetings, workshops, and meeting with funders and partners.

WAGE AND SCHEDULE 

Salary: Contractor rate of $26.70 

Schedule: 15 hrs/week from March 22, 2021 to March 31, 2022. 

The schedule is flexible and may include some evenings. 

Location: Work from home as needed during COVID-19 with seldom use of Collingwood Neighbourhood House office (5288 Joyce Street). 

Expected Start Date: March 22, 2021
