After an svn update, M-Audio's Xponent and X-Session MIDI devices will work just as well in OSX as they have been in linux. They should also auto-work on the win32 port, whenever somebody tackles that.

OSX now also supports MIDI re-hotplug: You know that jerk who's always unplugging your MIDI cable while you're performing? Well, now you can smugly thumb your nose at him, as you re-plug your cable, and dvj recognizes it. ...of course, if you're using your Xponent as your 4-channel soundcard, you may still have to punch him, since JACK can't yet output to a soundcard whose cable has been unplugged. Nevertheless, once you plug the cable in, just hit [F8], and JACK will reconnect. The JACK behavior probably should be a little more automatic. Meh.
