These guys RULE!

This album simply rocks. It is a combo of a few new songs and live versions of songs that span the life of the band. If you are already into this band, buy this album now. But, if you have not heard them or do not own any of their stuff, the best way to fully appreciate the music is to start with the first album and familiarize yourself with all of them in chronological order. The albums are different sounding but they are all well worth owning. These guys are truly talented and if you have a genuine appreciation for this type of music then there is no need to alter your state of being before you listen to Dead Meadow. With this album, as with all of their work, the louder the better! Thanks to these guys for this latest release. They really are THREE KINGS!

this is an amazing band with an amazing sound, that i wish more people could be exposed to ...
i discovered them by accident ... they were an opening band at a concert i attended several years ago.
i have not missed a performance in my city since that first time. they have entered that circle of bands, whose music is close to my heart, and that i need to listen to from time to time to nurture the soul ...
who do they sound like? hmmmm ... a combination of ... perhaps ... stooges, hot tuna, black sabbath, jimi hendrix ... they have an electric psychedelic sound ...
if you are reading this, and/or somehow ended up on this page, ... buy this record ... you will not be disappointed ...

Buy this if you're a fan

The playing is good, the new songs don't "fit", the movie scenes are pretty amateurish, but fun...Certainly not "The Song Remains the Same" (which it's rumored to be inspired by), but worth buying for true fans of this great, under rated band.
