Hello,

I am currently trying to synchronize the camera output to the movement of an object (through an encoder). those run on separate clocks, and by generating and triggering them at the same time, I could achieve something similar to a sync.
I have connected a cable to the 'sync in' connection of the DAVIS346 camera.

I have a couple of questions regarding this:
- How do i know if the camera receives that signal and generates trigger events? Where can I see that?
- Do i need to do something with the settings of the camera before i can use the sync in connection?
- Is it possible to put those 'trigger' events in a .csv output file?

Kind regards,
Roy

Hello, you can find the detailed documentation on synchronization here:
You can't directly see the triggers (there is no visualizer), you can only (for now) pipe them to a file and then look at the file, or directly print them using some code (C++/Python).
You will have to enable the external trigger edge detection, see docs above.
It's not possible to put them in a CSV file using our software directly, you can use dv-processing to print them to a CSV file by writing that bit of code yourself.
