Fast Way to conversion aedat2/3 to aedat4

Hi, I want to conversion aedat2/3 files (.aedat) to aedat4 files (.aedat4).

I'm simulating event datas from Imagenet-vid datasets and v2e framework output comes out with .aedat files.

So I want to conversion it to aedat4 over 3,500 files faster.

Now I'm trying to conversion with DV-gui program, but it's too slow and it has some withdraws.

Is there any fast, approaching python scripts to conversion it?

Hello,

sadly there is no such script at present, the DV conversion feature is the only one that can do it.

But if the files are good it is close to the fastest for doing conversion, certainly far faster than a possible Python script. You can also select multiple files to be converted at once, it will then convert them one after another.

If someone wants to take it on, rewriting aedat4to2
(https://github.com/SensorsINI/aedat4to2) could be useful.  But not so
easy to do for all cases because the packing of APS frames and IMU
samples into AEDAT2 is a cludge. But for pure DVS event streams it
should not be  difficult.
