calling dv.io.CameraCapture() very slow

Hi,

When I call the following simple script, it takes roughly a minute to complete. Is this normal? I'm on MacOS 15.5 and installed dv-processing via anaconda.

import dv_processing as dv

capture = dv.io.CameraCapture()

Hello, I wouldn't say that's normal, it usually takes <1 second for the library to load.

Can you try the latest dv-processing 2.0 release to see if anything changes? It's optimized for MacOS 15, even if I don't think that would make such a difference.

Have you tried our DV software, does it also take minutes to open a camera?
