Dear colleagues

I have gone through the list with a fine tooth comb, and am trying to
lay out the centers by region. Francis Hook and Ellmard Omollo have
expressed an interest in looking at centers to the west. Omollo can
lead the team to western. In addition, my friend Akoko Akech, a
researcher with IDS can lead the team to Nyanza and Ellmard can assist
him.

These trips should be made at your convenience.

Victor and I are working with Safaricom to get transport for these
trips. If we get this support, we may be able to send a team to
Western the 13th and 14th. We will try to get support for a trip to
Nyanza, which will be an overnight.

Wainana, could you go along to either Western or Nyanza?

Focus on pashas and tier 1. Try to visit at least 3 tier 2.

What do we do about Kisii?

Here are all the pashas and safaricom centers I found in Nyanza. I
have names phone numbers for some of these, but not all. The ICT Board
has given me better identifying information than safaricom has. All

Hi all,

I will schedule to be in Kisumu 13th and 14th. I have to attend to connectivity issues at my regional offices there so I will fly to and fro....That means I will cover Safaricom Tier 1 & Tier 2.

For Western, I will be in Kakamega within the same period but I may not be able to move around too much from my Kakamega reference point.

Dear Akoko,

could you try to visit a few of these places, especially the tier 3 places when you go home?

Please advise. Rigia
