Power BI semantic models can store data in a highly compressed in-memory cache for optimized query performance, enabling fast user interactivity. With Premium capacities, large semantic models beyond the default limit can be enabled with the Large semantic model storage format setting. When enabled, semantic model size is limited by the Premium capacity size or the maximum size set by the administrator.
I was not aware that you could point Dropbox to backup files in iCloud. How would you do this? Also, I dont think this would work as the file format that iCloud uses to store the photo is a new highly compressed file format called HEIC which could be stored on DropBox but cannot be viewed on Dropbox.
Using NSIS, you will be able to repackage your installers that have multiple files into a single, highly compressed executable. Your installers will complete faster, and consume less bandwidth. You will also be able to script administrative changes to your machines, such as deploying a standard desktop, or updating a specific registry value, or deploying an in-house application.
A particular advantage of ThinPrint technology is its broad hardware support. Almost 80% of the thin clients on the market already support ThinPrint. Well-known print server and printer manufacturers have also integrated the ThinPrint client software into their hardware. This allows printers to be addressed as network printers without any additional administration workload and thus allows direct processing of highly compressed ThinPrint print data.
Log data is then compressed and stored in chunks in an object store such as Amazon Simple Storage Service (S3) or Google Cloud Storage (GCS), or even, for development or proof of concept, on the filesystem. A small index and highly compressed chunks simplify the operation and significantly lower the cost of Loki.
Efficient storage - Loki stores log data in highly compressed chunks.Similarly, the Loki index, because it indexes only the set of labels, is significantly smaller than other log aggregation tools.By leveraging object storage as the only data storage mechanism, Loki inherits the reliability and stability of the underlying object store. It also capitalizes on both the cost efficiency and operational simplicity of object storage over other storage mechanisms like locally attached solid state drives (SSD) and hard disk drives (HDD).
The compressed chunks, smaller index, and use of low-cost object storage, make Loki less expensive to operate.
ESD (Electronic Software Download) is a highly compressed Windows image distribution format. The ESD image files are currently used to deliver the Windows operating system instead of the classical WIM (Windows Imaging Format) image. When you install Windows, all files from the ESD image are extracted to the drive of your computer.
Maintains sharp detail when scaling from large to smaller formats or from high-definition to standard-definition formats. Maximum Render Quality maximizes the quality of motion in rendered clips and sequences. Selecting this option often renders moving assets more sharply.
At maximum quality, rendering takes more time and uses more RAM than the default, normal quality. Select this option only on systems with enough RAM. The Maximum Render Quality option isn't recommended for systems with the minimum required RAM.
Maximum Render Quality often makes highly compressed image formats, or those containing compression artifacts, look worse because of sharpening.
