As the KS winds down I find it harder to resist with all the extras piling up. I know you can get in via the store, but I'm not sure how it's different than pledging on the site. Boiling it down, I have the following questions.

Are the prices the same, or do I pay a premium (or get a discount) if I go through the store?
How does shipping work? Do I pick stuff up at the store or does it get shipped to my house? If I get it at the store, will my shipping costs be less as all the orders will presumably be lumped together and thus qualify for a better rate?
Do I get all the one per backer stuff, or is that a casualty of bundling orders?
If I get really crazy and want to do both the new player level and the army level, with all their attendant perks, is that possible?
This one may fall under trade secrets, but how does the store make money on this? I'm assuming there's an incentive, but the discounts are already pretty deep for what I'm looking at, so my assumed route (lower unit cost) seems less ripe than usual.
Finally, I gather tomorrow is the last day for store orders. Is this right?

Thanks in advance for addressing my many inquiries. I almost called or drove out, but I figured other people might be wondering like I am.

To answer your questions….

“Are the prices the same, or do I pay a premium (or get a discount) if I go through the store?

Shipping will be charged to you if you decide to pledge online.  Shipping is not charged to you if you decide to pledge through Huzzah.   You will have to pick up the pledge at the store as it will be shipped to Huzzah.

If you decide to go through Huzzah with your pledge, you will still have to pledge the $1.00 backer on the KS website.  Reason being is that if you don’t you will not be prompted with the KS pledge manager at the conclusion of the KS.  The pledge manager will let you customize your order in case you have duplicates or wish to add further items because of unlocks.  Last it lets you confirm your order before final submission.

When filling out the info on the pledge manager, you WILL need to enter in Huzzah Hobbies shipping address so when BF pulls the PM they will know that the pledge went through a local store.  Otherwise they will ship directly to you and shipping charges will be assessed.

“Do I get all the one per backer stuff, or is that a casualty of bundling orders?

Yes and no.  In order to get the FREE add ons you would have to pledge the Troop leader, Taskforce, or Field Marshall level.  And it’s one set per pledge package at these levels.  Anything lower will be just the so if you pledged a 2player new recruit and $50.00 of extra add ons that would not unlock the free add ons.  Nor would the built in saving take effect.

Trade secrets

You have until the KS expires to get the pledge in to either the shop or online.  Obviously the shop will save you on shipping.

I hope this helps!

Bought in through Huzzah.

It looks like Battlefront needed to hit a higher pledge level before they got to the good stuff this round. Now things make way more sense, and I am happy they're making an option for local game stores to get in on this. After reading up for a bit, it seems they've got over $100k pledged from people buying in through their FLGS. That is fantastic to see!

Went Allies this round. Time to roll with the USMC.

I went by Huzzah this afternoon as well.  Hard to argue with $300+ of minis for $150.  Looks like a reasonably quick turnaround too for a KS.  Assuming nothing major comes up.
