Hey all,

Wanted to touch base with the group and talk about the state of our club at Huzzah and Dust Warfare in general.

As it stands today, we are meeting every other week at Huzzah for casual games, with the next game night scheduled to occur on the 8th.
Outside of that, there is not much going on at our store. Regionaly, there is a group of about our size that meets out at Drop Zone in Maryland and there are some other groups up and down the east coast.

Dust Warfare itself is under some transition. We know that Battle Front is supporting Tactics and Warfare, though it is obvious they are just sort of getting started with understanding Warfare. Whatever may happen with the game, I don't know, but I think it is a while before we see anything really serious regarding Warfare for some time. (Like a revised rule book for example) I hope I am wrong but that is what my bullshit detector is telling me.

All being said, I still really enjoy playing Warfare. I like the game and the models. Its about the right pace for me. So, selfishly, I am still wanting to play this game.

I am proposing we keep an alternating Dust Warfare game night/day schedule. However, it does not have to be on Wednesday evenings. We could move it to Sundays or Tuesdays or whatever floats peoples boats. Is there any thought from you all on that moving forward?

Additionally, if there is interest, I will schedule an Tournament or event at Huzzah every other month or so. Depending on participating, we could enroll in the Dust Devils International to get official tournament support, prizes and so on moving forward.

Additionally, I will post information on the activities of the Maryland Dust Warfare group, since they are hosting events almost monthly right now, for those interested, it is another avenue open for games etc.

Thel

Count me interested for the bi-monthly tournaments.  I live too far away to participate in your bi-weekly club events, but I would love to play Dust Warfare.

I am in for more Dust Warfare (Just picked up some Steel Guard minis so I definitely want to try them out).  As far as days to play, Wednesday or Sundays would work best for me (as I work at Huzzah or have other things already schedule pretty much every other night of the week already).  I would definitely be up for playing in a tournament if it was on a Sunday.

I'd love to get back in the Dust swing, but Wednesdays aren't gonna work.  I'd hoped to swap between my usual Warmahordes night and Dust but that hasn't happened.  Tuesdays and Sundays aren't much better, but are possibilities.  Hopefully the group can find/has found its feet again and Battlefront gets their act together in the new year.

I'm definitely interested in continuing playing Dust.  Wednesdays work well for me.  And I'd be up for the occasional tourney both at Huzzah ahd in MD as long as it does not conflict with family plans on the weekends.

I will be testing out some Steel Guard too.  I managed to get my hands on an Assault Squad and a Sniper Squad... now if I could just get a command squad i would be set.

Thel is not making it out tonight, his wife and daughter are sick.

I should be there around 6:15, just need to let some brush on gloss dry a bit more before heading over.
