(This is not the event for the next dance)
I am happy to announce that our website and registration are open for Hot Club's first anniversary weekend workshop, and we really have some cool classes, dances and competitions for you!
What to do:
1) Reply Attending to this Event
2)Go to:
http://www.tinyurl.com/durhamhawt
and register. We have full weekend passes, single day passes, and beginner track.
3) Tell all your fiends and invite them!
What we'll do for you
Dances
We have two dances lined up for you and included in the full weekend package. Friday will be a Djed at the Triangle Dance Studio. Saturday will be at a new Venue! The space for Saturday isn't huge, so register or get there early.
Band
We are pleased to bring you Live Music for this workshop! George Knott of the Atomic Rhythm Allstars is pulling together a swinging trio. So come saturdaynights to hear the amazing sounds of George Knott's Square Trio!
Also come join us for our competition. More to be announced, but I know there will be some great prizes!
Classes, Classes, Classes!
10 hours of Blues, Lindy Hop, and Balboa classes taught by our awesome lineup of local instructors. These classes will be geared for a wide range of levels. Everyone should be able to get something out of them. Take all 10 classes and you are bound to run into a surprise or two.
4 hours of Beginner Classes. Bring your non-dancing friends up to speed. They will get a good foundation in Lindy Hop, Balboa, and Blues.
Beginner Lessons Before the Dances. Each dance will feature at beginner lesson. Blues on Friday and Swing on Saturday.
Great Prices
$65 and $55 for the whole weekend. You can't beat this with any stick-like object., not even made of those high tech carbon fiber composites. For that price you get 2 dances, and 10 classes.
We also have single day and beginner packages, all a good deal.
Remember, "It ain't hype if it's actually badass."
