Piney Funding Request headed to City Council Work Session

All,

Just a quick note to pass on some good news.  Durham General Services is taking a request for Durham City Council to approve the additional funding needed to complete Piney Wood Pickleball Courts to this Thursday's City Council Work Session.

What does this mean? General Services has found the money. This is a major milestone!  Next step is to get the Council's approval to spend it.  

After this work session, Piney Funding will appear on the agenda of an upcoming 'official' city council meeting.  At that time we can submit written comments asking that the council approve this item.  I'll be in your inbox again then with details about how to add your voice.
