CIBC BANK AND THEIR PROCEDURES FOR GOVERNMENT DISABILITY CHECKS

Inquiring about the procedures why the CIBC BANK is all of a sudden
holding government disability pension checks for seven days all of a
sudden, as I am currently receiving the Ontario disability support
program disability pension and after making my deposit into my
account, I left the bank and come back to my apartment complex and
went upstairs to the office property manager with the intentions of
paying my rent when trying to do so using the debit machine the reply
come back was the transaction was denied. I left the office and come
back downstairs to my apartment and made a telephone call to the CIBC
Bank branch where I currently have my account when I was able to talk
to a live person from the branch I was told the reason for holding my
disability check and being denied access to my account was because my
disability check was not a check that they recognize because of it
being provincial and not a federal government disability check.
>From February 1, 2007 I have been receiving my Ontario disability
support program check on a regular basis and never had any questions
or complications about my is a very check until August of 31st 2007 at
the protector of time when depositing the check into my account
nothing was said by the teller or she never gave any indication of any
kind that there was any problem with my disability check.
My question is if there was to be a change why was I not notify by
letter or by telephone in foreign me of the possibility out some
changes in the banking procedures with Ontario disability support
program pension checks,
now after receiving the information over the phone I proceeded to
contact the apartment management office and I was informed by the new
property manager because of this type of action I would be penalized
for a late rental payment of my apartment,
how can that be possible.
