Hello all,
Please share the attached information with families that may be interested. Feel free to also share with staff and other service providers. All are welcome to attend but we are not able to offer stipends to professionals but can assist parents with a small reimbursement amount (approx. $20) to help offset some of their gas or childcare costs associated with attending. Registration is available online or they can call/email me with their name, email and/or phone number.

Why:
This event will give parents an opportunity to connect with other parents who have a child diagnosed with a genetic condition. We will have a panel of parents providing insight on how they handled receiving their child’s initial diagnosis and approaches they used to share that information with family and friends. All participants will be given opportunities to ask questions, discuss their own experiences, and give feedback for future forums.
