FYI
The Duke Registry for Autism Research is a way for the Duke Center for Autism and Brain Development to partner with community members who have a diagnosis of Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and their families.
People of all ages and abilities who have a diagnosis of ASD, their family members and friends, as well as those without autism, are invited to join the registry and to learn more about opportunities to participate in Duke-sponsored research.
Who can participate in the registry?
• People of all ages with an ASD diagnosis
• Family members
• Friends
• Individuals without autism
Families can call the number on the attached brochure to speak to a recruitment coordinator about current studies, and enroll in the registry in general to find out about upcoming studies as they open. The website www.autismcenter.duke.edu is now up.

Hi Beth,
I hope you remember meeting me at the Lincoln event for early childhood resources in December. I was there representing Duke's new autism center, and I spoke about our new toddler screening study that is offering
free diagnostic testing to families. I wanted to follow up with you about the other studies that we are doing and send you some materials that you can pass along to families. When we spoke before, you mentioned that you send out a newsletter to the community,
and we would love to offer our studies as a resource to families with children of all ages and adults. I have attached to this e-mail a digital copy of our general brochure that can be distributed to any family who could benefit from a free evaluation
and is considering participating in research. Families can call the number on the brochure to speak to our recruitment coordinator about current studies, and enroll in the registry in general to find out about upcoming studies as they open. I can also bring
paper brochures to your office if you would like to have some. Our new website is now up, which we hope will also be useful to families. It is autismcenter.duke.edu
Thank you,
Kathleen Campbell
