Through this initiative funded by the North Carolina Council on Developmental Disabilities, First In Families of North Carolina will identify and mobilize adult siblings to build the first ever Sibling Leadership Network in North Carolina. SIBLING SURVEY Are you a sibling, parent, or professional ally of someone with a disability? First In Families of North Carolina (FIFNC) has partnered with the national Sibling Leadership Network (SLN) to develop and disseminate a survey that will allow us to collect information from and about adult siblings of individuals with disabilities. Specifically, the survey will help identify current support systems for siblings, accessibility of supports, gaps in types of support, and areas across the state where more supports are needed.
