City Council Meeting TONIGHT!

Good morning, DFPC members,

I hope that you will all be able to join us tonight at 7 p.m. at the City Council meeting to take place at 101 City Hall Plaza, Durham 27701. 

Tonight, the City Council will take a vote on proposed changes to the city's Uniform Development Ordinance to permit commercial crop production. The measure is widely expected to pass. DFPC members have been actively involved in providing input to the Planning Department, the Joint City County Planning Commission, the Durham Planning Commission, and the City Council. 

If the changes pass as expected tonight, they will still await approval by the County Commissioners, but their support for the changes is widely expected as well. 

FYI, commercial crop production is the 15th item on the agenda; I can't predict how long it will take to get to this agenda item, but suffice to say, you needn't show up right at 7!
