I would like to extend a very warm invitation to all of you gearing up for the long anticipated
season of local indulgences brought to us by our devoted, hard-working farmers,
whether you are starting a weekly CSA or a regular attendee at the Farmers' Market.
Beginning this month, verypersonal*chef will be offering intimate “FARM-TO-TABLE” Cooking Classes right here in Durango in my gourmet kitchen.
Each course will consist of four monthly 3-hour class focusing on the seasonal offerings of that particular month.
We will explore the following throughout the duration of the course:
-using local produce and products, no matter what that looks like, to create gourmet meals to enjoy and share
-critical basic cooking techniques that will allow students to prepare these meals simply and easily bringing
forth the most flavor while preserving the highest nutritional value
-working knowledge of knife safety and use of variety of handy kitchen tools
-pantry stocking ideas that will allow the home chef the freedom to create a gourmet meal
from whatever they have to work with (even if you are snowed in this winter!)
-preserving of the summer’s abundance through various preparation techniques
-incorporating a variety of ethnic and local flavors to enhance all home cooking
-entertaining using local foods while staying on a local budget
-and MUCH MORE!

The course consists of 4 monthly sessions running from May through August beginning the 25th of May and meeting the last Tuesday of each month.
Class will include a minimum of 4 students and a maximum of 6. A commitment to attend in all four sessions is required in order to participate.
Each 3-hour class is a $40 fee which include lesson and the yummy fruits of our labors.
We will require an initial payment of 50% ($80) in order to secure enrollment, then balance paid prior to 3rd class.
Any groups of 6 enrolling together will receive a 10% discount on cost of course.
Based on popularity we are open to offering additional dates/courses to meet demand.

we are proud to offer 2 new “Farm-to-Table” focused culinary classes.
Thanks to the generosity of time and expertise of the farmers and producers here at the Durango market,
we will be offering a guided “tour” including tips, recipes and discussions.
In addition, we are offering a comprehensive one-night class celebrating the bounty of Southwest Colorado
and the spirit of entertaining here in our beautiful region.
