Synctool status times in different formats

The synctool status displays the start and current times in different formats:

Start Time: 2016-09-02T14:11:40.040

Current Time: Tue, 6 Sep 2016 11:11:52 EDT

I find this a bit jarring and inconvenient when I want to know how long the tool has been running.  I would probably use ISO8601 UTC for both, but alternatively, or in addition to that, simply printing the running time in days, hours, minutes (and seconds?) would IMO be useful to see at a glance.
