Unable to deploy services

If I click on the available services button - I get a list of 10 services.

If I select one of the services - like Bit Integrity Checker - I can get to the panel with the 'deploy' button.

When I press the deploy button - I get an error box - and in my catalina.out - I get the following errors:

ERROR          2012/11/27 16:24:39 [http-80-7] (ServiceManager.java:447) [deployService()] - Unable to deploy service 2 to duracloud.lib.utexas.edu due to error: Attempted read on closed stream.

ERROR          2012/11/27 16:24:39 [http-80-7] (ServiceRest.java:429) [responseBad()] - Error while deploying service(2, duracloud.lib.utexas.edu): Unable to deploy service 2 to duracloud.lib.utexas.edu due to error: Attempted read on closed stream.

Any thoughts on what is not configured correctly ?

Hi Dan,

It's hard to know what exactly might be causing the issue. As a starting point I assume that you have the OSGI container running (as detailed here: https://wiki.duraspace.org/display/DURACLOUDDOC/Deploying+DuraCloud+from+Binaries). I assume also that the OSGI container is running on duracloud.lib.utexas.edu (since that's where the calls are going), and that port 8089 on that server is available. If that is the case, I'm curious if trying to deploy other services fail, or just bit integrity? Does the same error show up on multiple service deploy attempts?
