Hi Hardy,

DuraCloud currently has two production storage providers that make use of the OpenStack Swift storage API. Those are Rackspace (not surprisingly) and the SDSC Cloud (https://cloud.sdsc.edu). If you were to implement an OpenStack environment locally, it would be straight forward to make use of DuraCloud on top.

Hi, we're exploring the idea of running DuraCloud locally, and I was wondering about private cloud storage options. OpenStack Object Storage (aka Swift) was originally developed for RackSpace's cloud storage, so, I'm wondering if anyone has used Swift for DuraCloud?
