I recently started selling on Etsy and after making a few sales my account was suspended with no explanation given. After emailing the support they replied back within 30 minutes telling me it was due to a suspicious log in and they asked for information to verify my account. I provided this information and have not heard back from them for 4 days now. I opened another ticket providing the information directly and explained that I have looked through the logs of recent logins and confirmed they are all my IP addresses. I've also changed my password and already had 2-factor authentication set up.
On Wednesday evening when I tried to login my account it appears password is incorrect. When I tried to change password it shows notification that your account is suspended and you are unable to change password.
My friend not able to login to her shop. It's 2 weeks now. She talked with chat support a lot of times but everyone is like they are escalating they matter team will contact her soon in email but no one is contacting her. She is really really worried now. She has open orders customers are contacting her but she can't reply. She can't access her dashboard. Whenever she is trying to access she is getting a message. You can't access we temporary limited your account access due to suspicious login contact us. Her store name is KJESSentialsStore . It's 2 weeks now it's really really bad. she badly need help. I have gained an access token once before, but it was so long ago. I don't know if I'm logging in differently from last time or if the API has changed since last time. My last successful login was using Postman, but that was a long time ago. Making what I am fairly confident should be the exact same call as last time using Postman is also getting exactly the same error described below. (Though I'm not ruling out the possibility that maybe I forgot to save the working call, and maybe the call I found and tried recently has never worked.)
We have two shops on Etsy and we will be in an another city for 2 months. We will take our pc with us to the another city (the same pc where we login to Etsy) but the internet connection will be different. Would that be a problem for us? Because of a different internet connection when we sign in to Etsy? We don't want to be seen as suspicious login.
Last Thursday when attempting to login to my long standing Etsy account, suddenly I was told that my password was incorrect. This was the case on my Windows PC and then also on my iPhone Etsy app and my ipad. I walked through the Etsy support site to the point where there is the "Reset Password" button in which you put the etsy account email and you are supposed to receive a reset email. I never get it. I know that the email is working correctly as there have been no changes to the account and I am receiving the normal amount of email each day into the account. I have looked in all the various folders in the account and also done multiple searches through the whole content of the mailbox for "reset" and "etsy" - nothing is there. I have logged directly into the email via a browser to rule out my mail client doing some kind of weird filtering or rejection - still nothing.
I am obsoletely dead in the water and no response from etsy... What do i do? This is closing in on a week now, and my shop is still "active" or published and visible on the platform, but I can't do anything with it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! It is simply stunning that Etsy, as one of the major platforms has ZERO support for sellers AND has no secondary method for verification and password reset. What is this? 1994?
When trying to login I get this message, For security purposes, please let us know you're a human, but it is just text with no image or button to push nothing to enter. The sign in button becomes grayed out so you can not push it again. Tried multiple times and same thing over and over. Called the OLD Etsy phone number which is now a recording that tells you how to contact ETSY online. That info/link is also broken "OOPS". Reached out to ETSY by email. Sent them three screen shots too. Had to find a "different" subject in the HELP section because there is no "Login-Broken" to ask for help with. No chat option, no call option, no help with this problem header. What do you do when the ETSY log-in system fails over and over? BTW I run the most updated version of Firefox (browser) and the most current Windows 10 update.
@MariposaStoneWorks I tried logging in the other day, and was supposed to be sent an email with a code for the new app. Never got the email. Tried the next day, it worked. I would expect anything new from etsy will have a variety of glitches.
No there's not. Anyone with your shop's login details has access to everything relating to your shop's daily operation - but not to your actual bank account or email account settings which are set on those sites (not on Etsy). So yes, they will see how many sales you make and how much revenue that amounts to.
I am emailing from my buyer account. I opened a shop in August selling pre-cut fabric and notions(hellohexieepp). A little over 2 weeks ago, I logged in to update some photos and noticed all of my listings de-listed and a red banner saying my account was suspended. I didn't see an email so I created a support ticked. Trust and Safety emailed back and told me Etsy detected a suspicious login attempt and shut down my account. I was asked to answer some questions in order to verify it was me, and to have my account reinstated. It's been 15 days since I sent the email.
Last friday December 15th I try login into my account but got a notification that i had a suspicious login so etsy had limit my account unless i reach out to them, I have been trying everyday with no success, and now 5 days later im here. We had over 80 open orders and over 100 of messages that we cant respond to, this is one of the worst experience I ever had with etsy how they can just turn off your shop like that, all that time building, managing, promoting, gone down the drain over some stupid bot that probably got trigger. How can such a big company do something so stupid that compromise your entire business, its absolutely mind boggling how they dont care nothing for the sellers except for that fact that if i weren't for us there wouldn't be them. I will update you all with this situation in the coming days
