Yesyou can use the LUCY if you wear glasses. However, it may not work well if you wear bifocals, trifocals, or progressive lenses. Basically, the LUCY enables you to see two things at the same time laid over each other. So you see your paper and the subject at the same time. If you have difficulty seeing near and far objects without trifocals, then when the two images are transposed over each other you will only be able to see either one or the other clearly.

The LUCY Drawing Tool is an improved adaptation of the classic camera lucida. Serving as an art tracing tool for drawing and painting, it functions like an art tracing projector without requiring batteries or bulbs. The LUCY is based on drawing tools that have been used by the Old Masters for centuries, so this drawing aid stands out as the best gift for artists looking to merge classic techniques with today's technology. Experience art like never before with the LUCY Drawing Tool!

A work in progress of one of my upcoming digital drawings, a futuristic British Mark V tank! It is currently on the sketching stage, before I move on to the final line art. After that, I will move onto the final stage of colouring.

I am beginning to move onto digital art, especially to further improve my skills and knowledge, which can be beneficial towards a digital art career. I do find digital art simpler and less stressful than traditional art. I am currently using my sister's drawing pad, though I will have my own one likely next month. The program I am using is GIMP.

I still have a comic-story style idea that I have had in my mind for quite the while now. This is another reason why I wanted to get into digital art as this idea would work best on digital rather than traditional.

For those who love to draw, I thought of sharing some of my drawings with you, including the process of making of the drawings itself, so they could learn a thing or two. This drawing was done during my free-time and I enjoyed it very much doing it.

I know my drawings aren't really top-notch, but I hope to make improvement by drawing more. I think practice doesn't make perfect, but practice does make improvements. I would like to hear from you, anything about the drawing.

@code10 Thank you, Sosaria. For the camera for the shots, I am using a hand-me-down Samsung Note II (dying battery), with power cable hooked up constantly. The camera was mounted on a cheap tripod, sitting on a stack of books to obtain a decent coverage. It is a relatively simple setup. From time to time, the camera does give problems of re-focusing while recording, causing temporary blurring of the video.

We understand the importance of making sure that our clients are equipped with accurate, detailed drawings that are easy to read and interpret. We have the ability to provide drawings for all of our tanks, used to store a multitude of different chemicals.

If you were to know exactly the chemical you wish to store, as well as the size, and type of tank, but you are not completely sure about what you need for fittings, the packaged quote drawings will benefit you most.

These drawings are common for clients who already have an idea of how much of a chemical they need to store or what size tank they are in need of. These are also common drawing types for our clients who are working on a long-term project, such as one that has to meet the storage tank requirements for a municipality or large agency.

To complete this process, after you request an engineering drawing, our expert autocad department can usually turn a custom drawing around in three to five business days. With this approach, you get exactly what you need without having to worry about the exact needs of the project not being translated into the drawings.

Getting your drawings done properly is integral to successfully storing the chemicals you want to keep safe. At Poly Processing, we take pride in offering top-notch drawings for all types of clients with all kinds of chemical storage needs.

Fantastic drawing and well represented. Thank you for sharing. I myself must admit that I did not realize that the Voodoo had 2 different styles of tanks. Always thought the streamline tank was the only one as most of my reference material shows. Goes to show old dogs can be taught something new.

Thanks for the help guys. Bob and Micheals drawings answered all my questions except what was the performance difference between the two styles of tanks. I may finally pull my 1/72 Revell Voodoo out of the dark recesses of my stash.

I have the D&S book, also the Bob Dore and Ronald Easley books. It's still hard to get exhaustive drawings, as quangster and I discovered when trying to get accurate dimensions for the intakes. I also have 3 views in 1/72, 1/48 and 1/32 scale, and none are accurate.

Founded in 2018 by New Yorker Samuel Gherman, Da Vinci Eye LLC is an ambitious startup utilizing augmented reality to reinvent artistic tools for the 21st century. Alongside co-founder and fellow entrepreneur Charissa Castillo, Gherman has led the company in developing a suite of groundbreaking apps that merge technology with traditional creative practices.

With over 50,000 downloads shortly after launch, the app proved the demand for AR art tools. It has since seen growing adoption across mediums like painting, makeup artistry, baking, nail art, and more.

A subsequent release, Mural Maker enables artists to create massive murals using AR technology. By projecting reference images onto walls and other surfaces, the app simplifies large-scale artwork without intensive gridding or projections. Key features include:

Doodle Grid provides a modern twist on the classic grid method for transferring drawings. Rather than rigid straight-line grids, users create freeform curvy grids to map compositions. Benefits include:

The LUCY Drawing Tool impressed on Shark Tank, and it's more successful today than ever. Shark Tank, the American business reality television series, has been a platform for aspiring entrepreneurs to present their business models to a panel of investors, hoping to secure funding to propel their ventures to new heights. Since its inception, the show has seen a myriad of products and ideas, from the highly innovative to the downright quirky. It offers a unique glimpse into the pressures of business pitches and the intense negotiations that can determine an entrepreneur's fate in mere minutes.

One of the key attractions of Shark Tank is its ability to offer a second chance. Entrepreneurs who might not have succeeded in their first appearance have the rare opportunity to step back into the tank with new ideas, that's if they can withstand Shark Tank's strict contestant rules. This was precisely the case with Les Cookson, who, despite a failed first attempt involving a less-than-appealing parenting product called the Carsik Bib, made a remarkable comeback with a revolutionary art tool, proving that persistence could indeed pay off in the high-stakes world of startup investing.

The LUCY Drawing Tool is a modern reimagination of the camera lucida, an ancient device that helps artists draw realistic sketches by projecting views of real objects onto paper. Les Cookson, the inventor behind LUCY, showcased this tool on Shark Tank during season 13, stepping into the spotlight once again after a decade since his initial pitch in Season 2. His history on the show added a layer of redemption to his story, transforming from his previous failure with the Carsik Bib to a poised pitch of a refined product. Cookson explained the lesson he learned after his first pitch (via CNBC):

The LUCY Drawing Tool is available in various models, including the LUCY mini, LUCY flex, and LUCY pro, making it accessible to beginners and professional artists. The price points are set strategically, with the mini and flex versions available for under $100. LUCIDArt products are sold through drawlucy.com and on Amazon. This course enhances users' drawing skills, providing value beyond the initial purchase.

In addition to hardware, LUCIDArt offers a comprehensive drawing course through its website. This course aims to enhance users' drawing skills, providing value beyond the initial purchase. This educational component not only complements the physical product but also helps build a community around the brand. This courses exactly what helped Cookson win over John in his Shark Tank pitch. Cookson explained on the show that this course could turn many of its 70,000 customers into repeat buyers.
