Subject: last few games

Hi All

I snet out an email on 16 June saying that we'd like to play the first six of the following remaining games this coming Sunday, 29th June:

18s    BRIGHTON STORMERS            HAVERING LIBERATORS
16s    BOURNE END BUFFALOES        STANSTED
14s    BRIGHTON STORMERS            CAMBRIDGE
         CAMBRIDGE                            DEMON ALIENS
         DEMON ALIENS                        BRIGHTON STORMERS
12s    TIGERS                                   DUNMOW
         DUNMOW                                EASTBOURNE PENGUINS
         DUNMOW                                TIGERS
         EASTBOURNE PENGUINS            TIGERS
10s    EASTBOURNE PENGUINS            TIGERS

I finally heard this morning that another team cannot play leaving us with only two games being played this Sunday. This causes a lot of work for those running the 'day' in that they have not made other plans so that they can be at Swanley and I for one am not prepared to do this again.

I suggest that the 10s game and the last round of the 12s games are scrapped since Eastbourne are not around for the next two Sundays anyway.

This leaves the 18s game and the last three 14s games:

14s    BRIGHTON STORMERS            CAMBRIDGE
         CAMBRIDGE                            DEMON ALIENS
         DEMON ALIENS                        BRIGHTON STORMERS

I had (as had Cambridge and Havering) pencilled in the 13th July but Brighton cannot make it.

I am open to suggestions but the 18s game must be played by 13th and the 14s games by 20th. If teams want to arrange to play these games between them, they are welcome to do so as long as the region receives £5 per team and the game sheet (otherwise games will not be recorded). If not, then, as before, I suggest that they either play on 13th July or the team who is unavailable takes a forfeit.

Please note that ALL these teams were offered 11th and 18th May, 8th June, 29th June and 13th July.

Could those involved in the last four games get back to me before the end of this weekend with what they'd like to do.
