Thought this might be a good spot to put ideas for where to purchase dice:

I ended up buying a bunch from:

They have multiple colors (Black, Blue, Green, Ivory, Red, White, and Yellow) at $.20 a piece with what I felt like wasn't a terrible shipping charge.  I ordered 120 for $24 + $5.40 S&H.  You can also get a 200 pack there for $38 ($.19 a piece) if you want to go really big!  I think the S&H on that was around $7.20.

I spent lots of time looking for something on Amazon, but I everything I looked into had lots of S&H.

That's where I ordered earlier today. Any tips on where to get cheap dice bags? (I'm tempted to get the ogre skull dice bag for the monsters.....)

Check out Chessex.com $1.75 for a small (4x6) dice bag. $2.50 for a large (5x7) bag. Not sure on shipping. Still waiting to hear back. They don't have yellow bags through.

I was just going to have my 14 yo daughter make me some :)   She's always making little draw-string bags for her stuff.

Though I was thinking I'd just add some to my group's next coolstuffinc.com order.  They sell those chessex bags -- I'm thinking probably the larger ones.

That's odd. I was sure that Amazon had some Prime-eligible blank dice. I got mine in a Super Saver order a few months ago before I joined Prime. There are several choices that are available as add-on orders, and oddly, foam dice are available via Prime, but not the regular ones. Weird.

Has anyone tried the foam dice? I'm curious about how good they are. I worry about them not having the appropriate weight and feel, but they are much cheaper.

FYI, I used wooden cubes and printed the files to paper and used scissors and glue to attach one to the other. It was, like, 42 cubes for $4 or so. I plan on spraying the finished cubes with an acrylic sealer to hopefully make them last longer.

My dice should be coming in with the mail today. Should have about 125 (hope that's enough >_> :P ) plus some that I threw in there for fun (d30 and some battle dice) cuz I like dice.

Looks like I got a project for the weekend... I'm ill so I'll determine later if I'm up for the task :P

hopefully mine come by next Sunday so I can bring them to my gaming group. Still need to look around for dice bags. I can get them from chessex for £7 but I'm not sure if I really need to order them internationally.

Yup. Got mine in today. Got one package and was like "yay dice" but it was City of Remnants from Plaid Hat Games. And then the mailman drove around and put the dice package in the mailbox. It was like muh birfday :3 so many surprises. lol

Got my Self Adhesive A4 paper today. Hopefully I'll get the dice soon. I would really like to have it done for Sunday as I'm getting together with some other gamers and would love to run it by them.

I ordered my dice at blankdice.co.uk, they were more expencive but the colors match really well, and the kicker is that they are indented so it will protect the print very well.
Paid $36 though, incl shipping, for 85 pcs. Stupid limit whjch adds VAT and customs in Norway stopped me from getting more.
But the dice looks smashing!

just buying enough for all the dice printed out, I would have been able to get good coloured dice for less than twenty quid, but that's only 96 dice. I ordered 120 white dice from ebay for £15, so I'm happy that I didn't go coloured. The images will provide enough colour for me. This way, I'll have enough dice to fool around with ideas and add dice to test out extra races/classes and any additional monsters, spells or abilities that people can come up with. Maybe I should have gotten more dice :P

I really like those. I've never done pnp (I've got my dice in, haven't had the time yet to print and put everything together) so what all did you do? They're all shiny and such. Did you laminate or user a certain paper product to print on?

Also I like the indented dice for sure. But I was able to spend about $31 on my 125 dice after shipping where I got them from so I don't think it would have been quite worth it. Definitely not from there since the shipping would have thrust the costs up a good bit.

Did you use glossy A4 sheets? I went with matte sheets as glossy sheets take one hell of a heat on the binder. None of the printers that I have are able to print onto glossy sheets. Hopefully mine look half as good as yours do, cos they look pro.

All right, I'm sold,

Could you make me a shop list? How many dice do I have to order from every colour?

I will obviously buy more, but at least i have a minimum to start with.

I used glossy photo paper, printed on high detail with your household Canon MP640. I have ordered sticky glossy photo paper aswell, but glued this time around.

There is no special rules about ordering the dice, you can mix colors and will get increasing discount based on the number of dice you order. 100+ gets you 20% on the lot iirc.

I simply counted the dice needed from the pdf with the pnp, not at home so I don't have the exact numbers. You want to order extras and othet colors anyway, for the new dice.

Oh and they're not greasy or treated, they've got a nice slight rough surface perfect for glueing.

just bought a load of dice, 150, in the different colors from indentedblankdice.com and he has labels that can be printed and put on the dice, I ordered 5 sheets (180 dice worth).  Each sheet of labels will do 36 dice.  He is a great guy and really quick with communication.

That's good to know. I saw that site before I just went with that bunco site. I wanted to get those indented dice but worried that I wouldn't be getting quality service or whatever since the site looked very... barren I suppose.

Got my dice in. Just cracked everything together. Still don't have dice bags, but for the time being, I'm just gonna use winter caps :P

While I'm happy with playing it, the only think I could think of while putting the stickers on is how badass this game will look with indented dice. Also, definitely makes you realize why this game might cost what it does. There are SO MANY DICE!

OK, I just scoured the Internet for the best deals I could find on blank indented 19mm dice and found several websites. I figured others might be doing something similar so I've compiled my results in some tables for easy reference. My hope is this can aid people who want to buy a bulk set or just buy a few more dice to test out some homebrew concepts. Chime in if you have found better sites or deals (I haven't checked eBay at all...)!

Just a note, I've assumed shipping to my residence and picked the most expensive option in most cases to give an upper bound on cost. Usually this can be reduced $5-10. Also, most sites offer a discount for ordering more dice so I have done a per dice cost (minus shipping) of both a single die (or the lowest possible order amount) and the price for 125 dice, which is both what I estimated I need and also offers a good comparison across most sites.

I am personally considering purchasing from either Indented Blank Dice or The Game Crafter depending on if I want 125 dice exactly (IBD) or a bit more (TGC) since they both offer the best fidelity in the number of each color I can buy as well as the (almost) cheapest price for U.S. consumers. Now if only someone would convert the dice templates to work with the ones provided HERE and/or HERE.

As an aside, I read HERE that there are supposed to be "two of each monster in the bag". Have people been play-testing with that setup or just one of each?

I believe the two of each monster was when there were only something like 6 different monsters available (Bat, Zombie, Skeleton, Golem, Witch, Demon).  Now that there are 14 (not counting Unguarded Treasure), I imagine the doubles are no longer necessary as there is an adequate pool of monsters from which to draw.

That's correct.  With all 14 monsters, I have not tested with copies.  I think copies at that number would likely create more problems than it solves.

How do the non-indented dice hold up? If they are that much cheaper it may be worth it to switch...

umm... they're alright. We had a mad power outage yday (6 hours) so I played below the emergency light on the carpet a good many times. It was annoying to pick up carpet dusted dice due to the corners of the stickers having a bit of a stick. Other than that, it holds up. I'm not intending on this PnP to be my final set, so I'm perfectly happy to save the 5 or so quid on using crappier dice.

Hm, good to know. I think I'll stick with the indented for now. I imagine we might be playtesting new expansions and what not for a while so it'll be good to have a nice set for that.
