OMG!!!1!!

Exclamation marks are in, at least according to this Guardian article:

As, I'm sure we're all aware the nature of internet communications
seem to warrant a different style of punctuation...

It's interesting to wonder how wave might again influence or change
these habbits... For example, what effect will seeing what people
type have on how we punctuate our sentences?

Or will the increasing role of English as the international language
of business, mean that Chinglish or another pidgin/creole variant
becomes the predominant language of communication?

I think it's fair to say that with so many people jumping onto the
internet, so quickly that we're going to experience massive shifts in
English usage over the next 10/25 years.

Any thoughts anyone?
