Hello to all (on bcc address list and on Group F web page)
Item 1: It's about two more weeks before our meeting! Virginia &
I will be leaving on our part of the trip next Wednesday, Oct 1, so
we're doing lots of getting ready this weekend. I'll be bringing my
laptop and will have email and cell phone
(979-224-4949) for any
necessary contact.
Item 2: I made a command decision about lunch on Monday at the Best
Western: Virginia and I recently had a lunch at Jimmy John's deli.
Pretty good and they have JJ's in Raleigh. So I've ordered 25 box
lunches. Some ham & cheese and some roast beef, plus a bag of
chips, a pickle spear, and a cookie. I'll phone JJ's with a final
count about 10:30, for delivery about noon. We'll get drinks from the
motel vending machines. Cost is $10 for each lunch including delivery
charge, COD to me please
. We can use that lunch hour for more talking with our favorite cousins.
Item 3: Listed below are the likely attendees. I'm going to review
my page on
ftdna.com web site and see who among the attendees have a
Genetic Distance = 0 or 1 to me. And I'll be sure to talk to that
person during the day. Obviously they are my closest kin and most
likely to find a common ancestor -- or at least figure out some
promising research leads.
