Horizons at SCH offers a high-quality, hands-on learning experience outside of the traditional school year to support academic achievement and healthy youth development. Now in its fourth year, the program serves over 60 rising first, second, third, and fourth-grade students. Horizons students experience a full day of learning opportunities, including literacy, math, STEM, and enrichment activities such as field trips, hiking, and instructional swimming. Students also receive breakfast, lunch, and snacks at no cost.

As we gear up for the upcoming summer session, we are launching a Back-to-School Supply Drive to ensure that our 60 incoming students have the necessary tools for success. We have created a wish list featuring essential items such as backpacks, water bottles, and school supply kits. Each student will receive all three of these items, setting them up for a positive and prepared start to the 24-25 school year.
