When I run a Dumbo job locally the resulting output looks like Python:

    'foo\xc3\xb8'    9999

That behavior occurs even if I use -outputformat text.

Is there a way to get text output from local jobs, or do I always have to run local output through the Dumbo "cat" command? For example, output like this:

    fooø    9999

Thanks.

Hey Monty,

Currently you might have to always run through "dumbo cat" to get the text output you're after, yes. It shouldn't be too hard to make the local backend support -outputformat text however...
