Igot an offer in Abu Dhabi for 24,500 AED a month with a company called NPCC in mussaffah abu Dhabi. That includes everything. For salary, benefits and all. They give me a month of paid vacation a year. I have a two kids 3 years old and my wife. Please tell me Is the offer good, fair or bad? what type of housing I can, where I can get it, and how much do you estimate I will have of free after all bills are paid.

Your help will be highly appreciated it!

Cheers

First of all, and most important, how did you receive this job offer? Did you receive it in the form of an unsolicited e-mail? Was it a job that you haven't even applied for?

There are a great number of employment scam e-mails circulating around the internet especially for jobs relating to the petroleum industry. Most of them scams and they have very official looking e-mails giving detailed job descriptions, pay scales, benefits, etc. These e-mail job offer scams are quite often sent out to people living in African countries, but are not limited strictly to those people only.

Check that first the e-mail address of the sender matches the domain name of the real company. Find the real company's official website and make sure the sender has used the same domain name and not just something similar. Example: john...@xyzpetroleumcorp.com (real domain) and not john...@xyzpetrol.com

If the sender is using a hotmail or gmail or yahoo account you can count on the offer being bogus.

Remember, no company recruits by sending out unsolicited e-mails to people who haven't applied for their job openings. This should be your first warning sign.

What ends up happening is that you get hooked, agree to take the (imaginary) position and then receive another e-mail telling you that you must pay a large amount of money for processing, visas, work documents, etc. Once you pay the person disappears without a trace. If you have received a scam e-mail you should contact the real company and report it so they can take the appropriate legal action to stop it spreading.

Hey ! are there any other benefits to this?

Will they give you a car? will they help offer to pay for your children's needs? Medical Insurance ect ...

I'm guessing since you're asking about the rent and what not you can visit www.dubizzle.com or the gulf news website for a clearer understanding of everything. Also I have connections in real estate if you need to rent and stuff they can probably find something suitable for your needs. Over here it's pretty hard to find a house with that kind of salary but if you're looking to save it's best to stay in an apartment. Don't worry most of the locations over here have pretty good living standards in apartments. There are supermarkets everywhere, mall left right and center so it's all so convenient.

Please note that the children educational aid will only be available to you when your children are 4 years old. Check for house in www.dubizzle.com. Most people working in NPCC stay at shabiya where acc is quite cheap. Other challenges u may face is English schools for your children.

I got same offer but currently awaiting govt approval to be mobilized.

Located within an hour to two drive from Dubai, UAE hiking trails will surprise you with a variety of landscapes. From rolling sand dunes to otherwordly rocky mountains with spectacular wadis, mysterious valleys, and hidden lush oases, UAE hikes are unexpectedly diverse. That said, trekking in UAE is a perfect way to immerse into the unique nature of the Middle East and get a glimpse into the rural lifestyle of the country.

Whether you are visiting Dubai or live in the UAE, lace your hiking boots and go explore spectacular Hajar mountains. I promise that you will get hooked on going on hikes in UAE (I surely am).

Based on my hiking in Dubai and the UAE adventures, I created a list of the best easy hikes in the UAE. Most of the below-mentioned hiking routes are well-marked. A few that are not properly marked are still easy-to-follow trails.

I have tried all these hiking spots in UAE and I consider them as some of the easiest available in the region. That said, the UAE hikes listed below are suitable for beginners with moderate fitness levels.

Note that this post focuses on hiking spots in UAE located in the Hajar mountains. However, Dubai hiking trails close to the city center are located in Mushrif Park, just a 30-minute drive from Downtown Dubai. Mushrif Park hosts a network of easy walking paths on relatively flat sandy surfaces.

It is important to know that the majority of the UAE hikes listed here require a car to reach. Even hikes in Dubai Emirate are located not inside the city but in Hatta mountain village, an exclave town of Dubai.

One of the best hiking trails in UAE is located in the Shawka area, eastern side of Ras Al Khaimah Emirate. If you are looking for an easy Dubai hike relatively close to the city, then the Shawka Dam to Pools Loop is the perfect option. It takes only a 1-hour drive to reach the trailhead from Dubai.

Wadi Shawka Dam to Pools Loop is a great beginner-friendly UAE hiking trail that offers spectacular views of the Hajar mountain range reminiscent of the landscapes of the planet Mars. The hike starts at Shawka Dam with an immediate climb up the cement staircase that takes you to the highest point of the trail. Then it continues down through narrow sandy and rocky paths until you reach water-filled natural pools.

Al Rabi Tower Hike (also known as Al Rabi Mountain trail) is one of the best well-marked beginner hike in the UAE. It is also one of the most scenic hikes that are located above the city of Khor Fakkan, near Fujeirah.

The highest point of the Al Rabi hike is at 395 meters (1290 feet). The total length of the trail is 6 kilometers (going up and returning the same way). Expect to spend there at least 3 hours- not because it takes that long, but because of how beautiful it is.

Al Rabi Tower trail is very easy to follow. Therefore, it is suitable for absolute beginners of various age groups. It is beginner-friendly and one of the best family hikes in UAE. However, not all of the trail is leisurely stroll. There are gradual inclines that will raise your heart rate up.

Al Rabi Hike trailhead is at Al Rabi Tower and is easily accessible by following Google Maps. It will take you 1.5 hours to reach the starting point of the hike when driving from Dubai. Convenient parking is available.

That being said, you will find a network of hiking trails winding through the Hajar mountains, near the Oman border. Several marked trekking routes were introduced in 2019. Those are suitable for hikers of different fitness levels. Color-coded in green, blue, red, and black, from easy to difficult, Hatta hiking trails span a total of 32.6 km. The complete beginners should start with the green trails that are leveled walks.

Marked trails in Hatta, UAE, start at the Hatta Wadi Hub. The driving distance from Dubai is approximately 145 km. It will take you around 1 hour and 40 minutes to reach those easy hikes in Dubai exclave, Hatta.

I have explored a combination of the above-mentioned marked routes, as they all intersect with each other. Some of those paths reach the HATTA mountain sign. You can also mix and match the trails creating your own route.

If you want to check my route, click to read more about HATTA sign hike. Note: it is a 6-7 km hike (the app says 11 km as there was some recording issue that drew a straight line on the map and counted into the total distance).

One of the most impressive hikes in UAE is a diverse trail called Rainbow Valley Hike located in the Fujairah Emirate. Often referred to as the Spectrum hike, this path is renowned for its extraordinary multi-colored rocks and deep seasonal pools that dot the terrain.

Situated just a 1.5-hour drive from downtown Dubai, in the serene Wadi Ghub, the Rainbow Valley trail has rapidly risen in popularity. This is largely due to its unusual scenery, which sets it apart from other hiking trails in UAE. True to its name, the trail offers a captivating visual play of colors. The layered rocks along the path are painted by nature in reds, greens, whites, browns, oranges, and burgundies, creating patterns reminiscent of a rainbow. This kaleidoscope of hues forms a breathtaking backdrop, making Rainbow Hike one of the most Instagrammable hiking spots near Dubai, UAE.

If you are a beginner hiker, I have great news for you. The above-mentioned rainbow-pattern rocks can be easily reached within 2 kilometers of hiking. If you are an experienced hiker, I recommend continuing further into the valley as there are more spectacular sections and more demanding stretches to be explored.
