The report had this to say about corn cobs:
"The net heating value of maize cobs is on average 14 MJ/kg (RWEDP,
2004). The
theoretically available amount of energy from the maize cobs is then
3276 TJ or 910
GWh based on the available amounts of cobs at 324 000 tons"
However these are raw cobs he weight would go down afte it was turned
into charcoal. Still its something to work with
