We did a great job Friday; the barbecue was a success and we got a
pretty good amount of corn cobs for testing purposes. Thanks a bunch to
everyone who came out and helped!
In the interest of preventing our newly-acquired corn cobs from rotting,
let's do the burning *this Sunday* (10/21)...sorry for the late notice.
We'll initially meet at 10am on the engineering quad outside of
Twinnies. We'll probably be working for two or three hours (the
charcoal won't actually be done until that night, but people don't need
to stick around waiting for it to cool). Please email me about whether
you plan on coming or not; I'd really like to hear from everyone.
This is probably one of the few times this year we will actually be able
to make charcoal (rather than sitting around talking about it) and it's
important to me that as many people as possible become experienced with
the technique. So, again, please email me about whether you will be
there tomorrow or not.
A wrap-up: Meeting tomorrow (Sunday) at 10am in front of Twinnie's until
12pm or 1pm. If you can make it to any charcoal meeting this year, this
is the one to come to. Reply to me about whether you'll be able to come
or not. Thanks!
Matt
