If you don't want to receive a particular type of notification, set the Allow Notifications on Facebook setting to Off for those notifications. This setting is located above each notification's Push setting. Not all notifications have this option, for example, Comments, Tags, and Friend Requests. You can also delete Facebook notifications.
It sounds like you turned off the special offer notification in settings. Did you also try the fix earlier in the thread? That worked for me, though it came with its own baggage. Though maybe that baggage won't happen on yours (shrug)

Thank you for putting this together. I followed all the steps you mentioned in Best Run demo instance. However, the custom email is not triggered. I am still getting standard email notification. What could be the problem? Not sure what I am missing out.
Another point to check if no notifications are sent (but business rule triggers successfully), workflow email configuration should be reviewed again. If a step in workflow email notification is set "No Notification" no templates will be emailed (standard or custom).
If you are able to see a standard notification, then review templates assigned and recipient's language. If system did not find a custom notification in recipient's language, then standard notifications are sent.
We have created copies for the other languages as instructed - however the text of the template was left in English (as was intended to stop them getting the standard notification) - however despite mapping being correct the notification received is the standard one. What else have we missed?

I am unable to authenticate my email address because I am not receiving an email notification from Jotform to make this happen. I have checked my security settings and I have not blocked Jotform. This is critical for our business as our agents who handle escalated issues do not spend a majority of their time in Zendesk. They have Zendesk open on another monitor and do not see the notification of a new chat. With no other notification, they are missing chats or keeping our customers waiting a long time.
It is important that agents are presented an audible notification to alert them to incoming transferred chats to give our customers the best possible support experience. Please move this up the roadmap as a priority item.
Because we work multiple chats and/or have multiple tasks going on at any one time, we need to know if a chat has been assigned to us from another agent so we can get to that incoming chatter as soon as possible. The sound notification and accept button are important to ensure we don't miss the transferred chat. Right now without the sound or accept, it's easy to miss when a chat is transferred which is horrible customer service. We also need visibility of the customers in queue with the ability to grab a chat when we have a returned customer. We lose chats often so we need to be able to grab them from the queue so they don't have to wait to be served.
