Represents the Microsoft Word application. The Application object includes properties and methods that return top-level objects. For example, the ActiveDocument property returns a Document object.
To use Automation (formerly OLE Automation) to control Word from another application, use the Microsoft Visual Basic CreateObject or GetObject function to return a Word Application object. The following Microsoft Excel example starts Word (if it is not already running) and opens an existing document.
Agreed with other posters that GC.Collect() and Marshal.ReleaseComObject() is not needed. If the process still exists after running app.Quit(false), it might be because you're running the app invisible, and there is a prompt that is preventing the application from closing, such as a Document Recovery dialog. If that's the case, you need to add this when creating your application.
This is the application for students coming directly from high school or students with no college credits completed. Students completing college credit courses while in high school, such as dual credit or AP coursework, would use this application.

The program is self evident to me minus the magic win32.gencache.EnsureDispatch('Word.Application') which I assume calls some Windows API to launch the word executable and get a handle to it to which we can make API calls. By the way, where can I find the documentation to that API?, or at least, what is it called? (If I knew the right terminology I could probably find the documentation).
I cann't find excel_application and word_excel application in my activeX class. I have correctly installed Microsoft office 2013, and when I searched on the internet, it said that RGT should be installed. I want to know where the problem lies,RGT problem or others. when I used my roommate's computer, I can find Microsoft excel 15.0 Object
I have tried and didn't find the solution. I don't know what I should install for my computer, ActiveX for the operating system or ActiveX for the word and excel. Meanwhile, I tried to configure my word with ActiveX, but it didn't work.
This library works on a Windows operating system with UI enabled only, and you mustensure that you open the app first with Open Application before running anyother relevant keyword which requires to operate on an open app. The application isautomatically closed at the end of the task execution, so this can be changed byimporting the library with the autoexit=$False setting.
I am curios about the app inventor, and I am a beginner. I want create a program which is known as guess the word. I want to make user guess the word which is detirmined by me. It is kinda fill the blank but first user must guess letters. There will be a hint button. When user press the hint button user will get a letter. The thing that I am asking for any tips or documents which I can research. I do some practice but when I click the hint button whole blanks get filled. Thank you for your help.
The problem is hint button. It is not like hangman. There will be a hint button which user can use to take a letter for asked word. User will press the hint button and user will get a random letter at textbox. But I cant make that happen. I need your help people. Thank you
By combining calls to these procedures, you should be able to derive a list of all the letters that are in the original word but that have not yet been chosen.
There is a list block to grab a random item from a list.
Ive recently moved my word application into the trash in order to reinstall it (as requested by Microsoft Office). However, when i go to empty my trash it say its deleting thousands of "documents inside Word".

My points below are drawn from my experience with the Hall Rothman Fellowship from the American Society for Environmental History. I won this award in 2015-2016. In this blog post I want to share some of the techniques and ideas that below shaped my application essay. I believe that the below tips can be used in other 500-word applications as well.
These guiding points are simply suggestions. Please take into account when working on your application the particulars demands and desires of your program and field. There is no one size fits all when it comes to grant writing, but taking some time to think about structure and organization can create a better essay and a better chance of winning the competition. I have a client that needs to insert Version number token into word document from Token in Quick Content within LF integration tab in MS word. Client Macro programmer was able to insert the Version number into the document through custom Macro. Now the issue is that after saving the file with new version the value in the document is not reflected and the client has to press the Refresh button. Even after user closes the file and reopens it the value of the field on the page is not latest version and user has to press the refresh button to update the inserted filed value.

Dropbox Paper is a free online word processor offered by the online cloud storage provider. To start using it, you will need a Dropbox account. Once logged in, you get full access to the online suite. The minimalist interface is very intuitive and its simplicity allows you to focus on your content. You can also do a number of things that go beyond creating a textual document. You can add rich media, such as audio, video and images. Dropbox Paper also allows you to access apps that let you embed Trello cards, Youtube videos or SlideShare decks. Other collaborative features include document link-sharing, creating and assigning checklist items to members or embedding one of your Dropbox documents. Dropbox Paper, overall, does an excellent job at creating dynamic documents you can share and access online.
Zoho offers around 20 free online applications including Writer for word processing. You can link your Zoho account to your Google and Yahoo accounts, as well. The Writer's interface shouldn't cause anyone problems as it is comfortably familiar. When working online there's always the risk of losing data due to a lost network connection, accidentally closing your browser or having your browser crash. Luckily Zoho automatically saves your documents for you, as you finish typing. Zoho Writer is well-equipped with features that allow you to work easily online: two-way desktop sync, large file transfer, encryption, file recovery, two-step authentication, in-app chat, and more. You can import and work with MS Word documents, allowing you to insert images, and edit content as needed. Zoho Writer offers all the standard text formatting and document creation features and can export to DOCX, ODF, PDF, Latex, RTF, TXT and even HTML. It can plug into Echosign for digital signatures, publish the document to a blog or make it public for all to see. Zoho Docs is completely free to use.
