VIBGYOR. The colors of the rainbow are perhaps the best way for me to spell out my times with Ritu. Nowhere have I spoken about her role as a wife at home or as an unwavering ally in my professional journey right from the beginning. It is not necessary. For her nonstop passion for everything she undertakes is infectious and reflects in all aspects of her relationship with me. I am fortunate to be sitting at the front row, watching her do her thing and excel at it. I feel as if I have known her forever, yet time and again I discover a brand-new color of hers. How is it possible for anyone to excel in everything? From student to teacher, from doctor to homemaker, from daughter to mother, from family to friends, from social butterfly to social welfare. Her versatility amazes me. Her proximity makes me feel alive, it triggers kuch kuch hota hai kind of love in me!
Very good read. As always you are a man with the right words. I remember your comments to me when we met during an elevator ride on my 23rd birthday (year 2008) in the West Avenue building ? Inspiring then inspiring now. Happy Anniversary and kudos to the Cybage family !
It is really great to see a wonderful, caring, passionate wife standing behind you. A very big thank you from all of us who worked in past and are still working at Cybage. You both are essentially creating economic soldiers for the country. Amazing work is being done on social front too.
Happy Silver Jubilee Anniversary to both of you.
Very well narrated journey, I enjoyed every bit of it.
You are the true magician of words ? and Ritu mam is true gem of your life.
Have a rocking day ahead ?

Everyone, from old and young, has seen this classic Karan Johar movie 'Kuch Kuch Hota Hai'. He made a debut as a Bollywood filmmaker, not knowing his first would continue to be so powerful through generations.
Ever since lockdown has begun, people are engulfed into the world of Netflix and Amazon, however, I still enjoy watching television. The re-runs of The Kapil Sharma Show, Koffee With Karan and movies like No Entry, Uri, DDLJ and Kuch kuch Hota Hai showing up is pretty engaging during those family lunches.
And so I saw Kuch Kuch Hota Hai for the 50th time last night (no, not counted but I am pretty sure it's more than that), and realised that if I was Anjali (Kajol's character), I would have, without an iota of doubt, chosen Aman (Salman Khan) over Rahul (Shah Rukh Khan).
Way before Tina made her way into college, Rahul and Anjali ka jhagda was the high point in the University. Not just that, Anjali was always seen looking out for Rahul and looking after him. "Rahul, juice .. juice."
Like a typical bully, Rahul's agenda is to tease, flirt and pretend to be the coolest boy of the college. While we understand that Rahul "fell" in love but forgetting the BFF who is studying in the same college and same class is just ignorance which no one deserves.
Pyaar dosti hai is a global gas that Rahul initiated giving hints to the self-sufficient Anjali that she could maybe be in love with. She dresses up her best and shows up in front of her BFF. What do BFFs do? They never ever make fun of their bestie in public. And if they do, they apologise too in public and not secretly in a far off quiet place.
Are you even a friend if you can't tell that your BFF is breaking down and so much is going on inside her. It's only because of selfish Rahul that Anjali eventually went through a personality transformation.
His entry skips everyone's heartbeat. Anjali looks happy too to be engaged with him until Rahul again comes to fuck her mind. Aman is adorable. Despite the fact that Anjali left him and went for the summer camp, he instead of going to London was seen spending time with "her mom" and looking at their engagement pictures. What an ideal husband.
"Meri Anjali tumhari Anjali se zyada khoobsurat hai." Isn't that what we all want? Despite Anjali not being head over heels in love with Aman, he covers up by being a doting fiance and always praising her. Little Anjali too convinces she's not the one for him but Aman waits for his fiance to speak up.
Rahul and Tina let an 8-year-old do all the hard work of reaching out to Rahul's BFF. What did Rahul do? He didn't keep in touch with his best friend, never reached out to her, didn't know if she was even alive or married but pallu fly Hua and he thought he's in love. He's just a sicko and/or a pervert.
On the other hand, Aman cannot be without his fiance and decides to surprise her on a rainy romantic night. Isn't that better than a best friend who didn't care for you all these years? Aman is someone who promises to be around. Always.
Towards the end of the movie, Aman does come to his own wedding but lets Anjali decides who she wants to pick up. The worst decision in the film - Anjali decides to live with Rahul, his mother, and his daughter.
Keeping in mind all the points above, there was no way I would give selfish Rahul a chance. I would rather turn around and hug Aman and say, "Le ja le ja, Soniye le ja le ja". And I promise you if Anjali would have chosen Aman, Rahul would have walked out. He would have never danced on Saajan Ji Ghar Aaye the way Aman does in the end. And that's what makes Aman special and sexy.
