Therewere few young men who believed in Allah in a city full of unbelievers, according to Surah Al Kahf. In fact, Allah was putting their Imaan, or faith, to the test. Those young guys left that nation when they believed their faith was in danger from the non-believers there. They enter a cave, where Allah grants them long stretches of sleep. They discover that a lot of time has gone and that they are surrounded by believers when they awaken and emerge from the cave.

This section of Surah Al-Kahf offers a significant tale from antiquity. Few believers were willing to receive the message when Allah delivered it. The vast majority of residents in that metropolis, though, were atheists. And when the Christians were subject to their retaliation, they had to seek safety in the cave. When they finally awoke after centuries of sleep, the entire city had converted to Islam.

There was a man who was very wealthy and was blessed with two beautiful gardens. But he was a disbeliever and even when Allah bestowed His mercy in the form of very prosperous gardens that was given to him. Yet he did not thank Allah for the blessings. In fact, he started doubting divine mercy and blessings. He became boastful about himself. As a consequence, Allah SWT took away his wealth, and at last, he came to know about the delusion in which he was living. But it was indeed late for him.

Moral: This story of Surah Al Kahf teaches us that whatever we have been given is solely by Allah SWT. And we should always be thankful for it. When Allah blesses us with the wealth, we should be thankful and use it purposeful and for the betterment of the world and Islam. As this world is not our eternal abode.

Dhul-Qarnayn was a smart, strong, and righteous king who upheld justice and toured the globe to aid those in need. He was the king who encased Yajuj and Majuj (Gog and Magog) behind a massive wall, protecting the populace from their savagery.

Moral: Allah bestows on us all of the power. And we should make good use of our blessings. When something seems tough but we know we are capable of completing it, we should trust Allah and move quickly to complete it because He likes those who do good and aids them in doing so.
