Dave, I have enough long hoses, I only have two outside faucets, but I
picked up a manifold that I can hook up to one of my long hoses that
we can run four hoses from . If you have a couple short hoses they
may come in handy when cooling things off. I kept getting
interrupted when making my original post from work, but wanted to get
a dialogue started. I have time to make more sense now. I will grind
6 batches worth, and have the ingredients separated that way. I will
be doing a 10 gallon batch also, as Steve and Marcia are coming
(YAY!), but don't have their own equipment. They will take 5 gallons
at the end of the day.
We will be brewing in and around the garage. I have a 12x12 pop up
shelter I plan on putting up outside the garage. If anyone has
another, it may be handy, depending on the weather.
Oh, the price for a batch comes out to $20.18, which includes a packet
of Nottingham dry yeast. If you don't want the yeast, the price drops
to $15.68. Will add more info as information becomes available. We
are working something out for food. Believe we will be hot smoking a
turkey that should be ready by early morning. Don't feel like you
have to bring food. I am sure we will be not be in danger of
starving. Hopefully the weather will enable me to bake on Thursday or
Friday, so we can have some fresh buns for sandwiches.
