hops

Anybody else's hops ready to pick? Mine are dry, paper like and started to
turn brown. Jim, I suspect yours is about like mine.

Some of them are getting close. Not sure how much longer. A week or
so maybe. They don't have a real good aroma yet, though the lupulin
glands are filling out good. If they are getting dry should be ready
I would think.

I checked my hops again today Randy, and I may be picking them in the
next day or so. The aroma has really picked up, and more of the edges
are turning brown. Will most likely be this week some time. Won't
have time this weekend. It seems earlier this year. I don't think I
picked them until the 2nd week of September the past couple years.
