April DUFF Meeting

Greetings DUFF Club group

The April DUFF meeting is going to be held 514 Main st., Mauston at Fritz and Nancy's place. Sounds like we can legally do... what we've been doing, sharing homebrew! Yaaa! Fritz says Nancy is preparing pulled pork, and everyone is welcome to bring more to share ( I think he said more but my memory is short and getting shorter everyday! Sorry). 

We need to do a quarterly planning meeting for May, June, and July, and preliminary planning for August, September, and October.

Sounds good Mel. I went through a short panic attack on Saturday,
when I thought, wait a minute, last night was meeting night. Doh,
remembered it was the upcoming one. Good news indeed. One thing to
think about is the Brew at the Barn. They are still working on a date
later in the year. Also got an email from Great Lakes Brew Fest.
Homebrew Island is back in the schedule. We can get 4 club members in
free, if we go. They recommend 30 gallons of beer per club. Was a
blast!'

Hi to all,   Looking forward to the meeting at Fritz's house!    Great news about the law change and that Brew at the Barn is back on.   It got me thinking maybe we should, as a club,  hold our own home brew  tasting and contest during this years Fermentation Fest. ( Oct 12th-21st).  I know that we still have time to get into the planning.  Could we have some discussion during this next meeting to see if there is interest from the club to put our DUFF name on an event?

Hi folks, Is the meeting Friday the 13th?or did I miss it? Mel, I was wondering if you have any of those beer kites left. I have a friend that wants to try making beer, I thought it would be a cheap way to get him started. I will see him tonight and let you know. Joe V

That works out fine for us Dave.  As long as Marsha and Steve are good with it.  Question though, are we supposed to bring our own beer to the meeting as usual?  And if we do, we should definitely make sure Tanner is welcome to sample also!

Hello DUFF Club members,
I have made plans with the Brewmaster ( Tanner Brethorst) at Port Huron Brewing Co to give us a tour of his facility on Friday July 6th at 7pm.   The meeting usually start at 6pm.....that should give us time to have a beer and visit a bit before the tour.    Marsha and Steve said they may be able to hold the August meeting....Thanks!
