Dear Dragons,

You will find hereafter some more details about the Dragons Jubilee weekend.

The plan is as follow:

Jubilee week-end: 26th - 28th August 2016

- Friday evening: Welcome dinner at McLaughlins
- Saturday afternoon: Game (Teams to be defined)
- Saturday evening: Dinner at Dragons lair followed by party
- Saturday night (time to be decided): Transfer by bus to Mc Laughlins
- Sunday: Free time

A participation fee will be asked to all participants.
This fee will include:
- 2 meals
- One player polo shirt for Saturday game
- Some drinks
- A surprise :-)

The amount of the fee is still under decision.

We have created a dedicated event on Facebook for the Jubilee week-end.

Please use this event to give us a first idea about your participation, so that we can start organising food, drinks and the rest accordingly.

For those of you who are sure to come, we kindly ask you to fill-in the Excel spreadsheet in order for us to get all information we need.

some old Dragons here who dont seem to be in the Loop for the Jubillee. Maybe you can send them the schedule, I couldn't find it immediately.

Not sure if there is an email distribution list, I think it is mainly running over Facebook and word of mouth, correct?

Andy Amelung has sort of "included" me in arranging the Old Dragons weekend. The problem seems to be the date: too soon for most. I just spoke to Phil Mason and he's on holiday in France. Brian can't make it, neither can Mike. No news on this from Gordon or Nigel or Lenny, or Jürgen. So far only Billy, Dai, and Paul have confirmed. Is it still viable or should we try to re-organize for springtime? Obviously, I can't do anything about accommodation until I know numbers. It's a bank holiday weekend. So flights might be a problem. And there are just seven weeks go. My personal feeling is that it's all a bit too sudden - and really, we want all the Old Dragons together, not just a handful. Please give me feedback.
Hope you're all in good shape. I am - even though I turned 70 last month!

Good to have questions about the recent England displays in the World and European cups. It is obvious that we were crap. Strange none of you foreigners got in touch in 1966 or2003 to ask questions then.

I presume all the Welsh and Scots are looking forward to the Lions' tour; it gives some of them a chance to win in the Southern Hemisphere. Something they can't do on their own!

Will be with Dai and Binksy in Bury on July 19th. Look forward to seeing everyone else soon.

Sorry we didn't meet at The Dragons.  I was coach there 1975 - 1978 Great times and a GREAT Club
Because many from my time at the club can't attend this year because of short notice I feel I am having to give it a miss
A few people have suggested a get together next spring ? On last weekend of six nations I would definitely be up for that
Hope we meet up sometime and have a good chat re different times at The Club and obviously a few Alts!!!!
