bug in Firefox

I spent some time looking into why the flashcard deck editor takes so
long to load in firefox, and gave up after testing all the tricks I
could find for firebug.
Posted a question on stackoverflow

which got picked up by a mozilla dev apparently. He confirms it's a
bug in FF, and he filed it here:
