Synthesizing visual content that meets users' needs often requires flexible and precise controllability of the pose, shape, expression, and layout of the generated objects. Existing approaches gain controllability of generative adversarial networks (GANs) via manually annotated training data or a prior 3D model, which often lack flexibility, precision, and generality. In this work, we study a powerful yet much less explored way of controlling GANs, that is, to "drag" any points of the image to precisely reach target points in a user-interactive manner, as shown in Fig.1. To achieve this, we propose DragGAN, which consists of two main components including: 1) a feature-based motion supervision that drives the handle point to move towards the target position, and 2) a new point tracking approach that leverages the discriminative GAN features to keep localizing the position of the handle points. Through DragGAN, anyone can deform an image with precise control over where pixels go, thus manipulating the pose, shape, expression, and layout of diverse categories such as animals, cars, humans, landscapes, etc. As these manipulations are performed on the learned generative image manifold of a GAN, they tend to produce realistic outputs even for challenging scenarios such as hallucinating occluded content and deforming shapes that consistently follow the object's rigidity. Both qualitative and quantitative comparisons demonstrate the advantage of DragGAN over prior approaches in the tasks of image manipulation and point tracking. We also showcase the manipulation of real images through GAN inversion.

Scalar 2 is in DETECT mode and set to MIDI. I try to drag a short MIDI clip from Garage Band onto the Scalar GUI and nothing happens. I have watched your video over and over and I see nothing wrong on my end.

In regards to point number 1. You need to drag your Midi clip onto the track you have Scaler 2 loaded on (not the Scaler 2 GUI itself) and start playback in Garageband. Just make sure you have detect enabled inside Scaler 2 before you start playback.

Hey @conan55 James point 2 is relevant here. You would just need to export file as midi on Logic to your desktop then reimport into Scaler or even easier - just put Scaler on as a midi fx on that channel or put Scaler on an another instrument channel and drag the midi to that channel and hit detect in Scaler!!!

To detect Audio without exporting and re-importing you will need to load ScalerAudio as an fx onto the track that you have your audio file on, set detection to audio, adjust the threshold and then begin playback. Scaler will attempt to detect the chords and notes being played.
See this video here Scaler 2 Workflow Audio & Midi Detection - YouTube

There are many videos and resources out there that can help with how to detect audio and Midi, but I can assure you that you cannot drag Midi or audio from within your project onto the Scaler GUI for detection.

As part of their performance, many drag queens and kings have a separate drag persona in addition to the self they live as every day. This persona will of course look different, but may also have a different name and ask to be referred to by different gender pronouns.

Like transgender people, drag performers can experience discrimination and harassment because of their gender expression. NCTE works to end violence against all people who face bias because of their gender presentation and/or identity.

I have a XA6 deploy and I have a system with dual screens that i launch a published application (excel) from. When I try to drag the application to the second monitor it stops halfway and cannot go any further onto the secondary monitor.

I have tried increasing the video RAM to max as well as changing the color depth of the app down to 8bit. I've also adjusted my monitors so they are both the same size of 1366x768 but the same issue occurs. Natively they are 1366x768 and 1680 x 1050.

My understanding is that the 32MB of RAM should be sufficient or at least i should get a degrade color depth first warning if it is not sufficient. No matter what I try I cannot get it to work. Like I said I did bump the video RAM to 64MB but the same issue occured. I also tried flipping the policy from degrade resolution to degrade color depth and vice versa.

I have looked at but most of the fixes seem targeted at XA5 on 2003 or 2008 where this was more of an issue.

Any ideas anyone!?

Thanks

That is definitely the symptom of having not enough video memory to support your client desktop size.

How did you change the video memory? If you did it through a console or an application, I would verify that the change was received on the server by examining the registry setting. This is the only thing that I've ever seen cause this issue.

Cards are containers for the different controls that are available in Tableau. Shelves are a type of card control. When you drag fields from the Data pane to the Columns or Rows shelves, the data is added as a column or a row on the axes in your view.

When you drag fields from the Data pane to the Marks card, you can control visual properties like type, color, size, shape, and more. Only the marks in your view are impacted by this action; axes do not change.

Did you accidentally hide a card that you now need? No problem! Just about everything on the Tableau workspace can be turned on or off to provide the maximum amount of room for you to create your visualizations.

Your view updates to a bar chart. By adding a second discrete dimension to the view you can categorize your data into discrete chunks instead of looking at your data continuously over time. This creates a bar chart and shows you overall sales for each product category by year.

To view information about each data point (that is, mark) in your view, hover over one of the bars to reveal a tooltip. The tooltip displays total sales for that category. Here is the tooltip for the Office Supplies category for 2021:

From this view, you can see that sales for furniture is growing faster than sales for office supplies, even though Office Supplies had a really good year in 2021. Perhaps you can recommend that your company focus sales efforts on furniture instead of office supplies? Your company sells a lot of different products in those categories, so you'll need more information before you can make a recommendation.

To help answer that question, you decide to look at products by sub-category to see which items are the big sellers. For example, for the Furniture category, you want to see details about bookcases, chairs, furnishings, and tables. Looking at this data might help you gain insights into sales and later on, overall profitability, so add sub-categories to your bar chart.

If you drag the Sub-Category to Color on the Marks card, you create a stacked bar chart with additional marks for each sub-category identified by a unique color. Tableau automatically displays a legend card to the right for the Sub-Category values.

For example, the above view shows you that bookcases contributed 38,544 USD in sales to the overall total of 170,518 USD for Furniture in 2019. The mark is displayed at the top of the bar because Bookcases are listed above Chairs, Furnishings, and Tables in the legend. The sub-categories are displayed in the legend so that you can move them around and examine your data in a way that makes sense to you.

Now you're ready to begin focusing on your results to identify more specific areas of concern. In the next section, you will learn how to use filters and colors to help you explore your data visually.

As a result of the unprecedented COVID-19 pandemic and recent New York State and City mandated restrictions on commercial operations, Phillips regrets that we are unable to make lots from this sale available for pre-Auction, in-person inspection. If you purchase any Lot(s) from this sale, Phillips will permit you a seven (7) day period to physically inspect each Lot following its delivery to you, and you may, at no cost to you, give us written notice that you wish to cancel your purchase of that Lot within its seven (7) day period.
