Using variables in file name.

Is there a way to escape special characters in the file name settings?
For example, I would like to use "screenshot.NN" for the name, but s
and h are variable characters. If there is not s method to do so, it
would be a nice feature to be able to use "\screen\s\hot.NN" to give
my results names like "screenshot.0001.png"

Hi John,

For now it's not enabled yet. I have ever considered a more robust way to set variables, the consideration is that the change of variables will impact existing users. The keywork "NN" is what I added later, I named it with "NN" in order to reduce the impact to existing names.

Your solution, the escape key is really a great solution. I'll log it and put into future work plan.
