3-D mobile applications

Hi,

Is it possible to build 3-D mobile applications using javascript. I need to build an application that will take a Digital Elevation model and allow you to select a square from the model and then rotate/ exagerate etc that mesh square.

I need this to work across all platforms and I was wondering is this possible with js.

Does that work in safari though? I was of the opinion that it only worked in chrome and firefox?
