Supplementary Reading for Middlesex

If you're looking to supplement your reading for Middlesex, try The
Virgin Suicides, also by Jeffrey Eugenides. Middlesex is Eugenides'
sophomore work after Suicides, and reading the pair may give you a
greater insight into the author's technique, themes, style and more.

I think I'll be giving it a go--you may want to too.
